Bobby Jindal is an Indian origin American politician who has created a unique record of becoming the first ever Indian to contest for the race of becoming the President of United States of America. He is currently the Governor of Louisiana ( Southeastern U.S. state on the Gulf of Mexico ) and the former VC of Republican Governors Association.

Bobby Jindal Early Life And Biography

Jindal was born on 10th June 1971 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Amar and Raj Jindal who were actually the immigrants from Punjab ( India ) and arrived in US just six before Bobby's birth. He did his schooling from Baton Rouge Magnet High School and then completed his Graduation degree in year 1988. He was the topper in class and also competed for Tennis tournaments in high school. He initially used his hands on business like retails and also in business of computers along with a mail-order software company. He was among those 50 students who were admitted to the program in Liberal Medical Education (PLME) at Brown University. Biology and public policy are the subjects of his area and also the majors of his Bachelor degree. In 1991, Jindal went to Oxford University to study health-care systems and worked for state of Louisiana in later stage of his life. It was year 2001 when he declared as the Assistant Secretary for Human Services under President George W. Bush. In 2007, he declared winner for race of Louisiana's governor. Finally in 2015, he heralded that he will run for 2016 Republican presidential nomination.

He first contested for governor in year 2003 but lost to Kathleen Blanco ( A democratic Candidate ) but in 2004 general elections, he won a seat in the United States House of Representatives. Finally he succeed to make it in 2007 and elected as the Governor with a storming majority even in the first round.
