Surveen Chawla in an Indian actress who made her debut in the entertainment world with the famous TV show "Kahin to Hoga" along with other stars like Aamna Sharif, Rajeev Khandelwal and Sabir Ahluwalia. The show was a big hit of its time. After "Kahin Toh Hoga", she appeared in a dance reality show called "Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena" where she was in pair with famous Indian team cricketer S. Sreesanth. After these two popular TV shows, Surveen then entered into the world of comedy shows and hosted "Comedy Circus Ke Superstars". Then after these TV shows, she managed to enter into the big screen with her debut movie in the Kannada language. The film was "Paramesha Panwala" followed by another film ( Punjabi film ) "Dharti" in 2011. She then continued her series of Punjabi films till the year 2014. Some of her Punjabi films are  "Taur Mittran Di", "Saadi Love Story", "Singh vs Kaur", "Lucky Di Unlucky Story" and "Disco Singh". She finally made it into Bollywood with an item number "Dhoka Dhoka "for movie "Himmatwala" directed by Sajid Khan. "Hate Story 2" is her recent  movies in opposite to Jai Bhansali.

Before her matriculation, she wanted to become a medicine expert but in  her later stage of life, she decided to be an actress and moved to Mumbai ( India ) to build her career in entertainment industry.
