Bhavish Aggarwal is an Indian entrepreneur and founder of Ola Cabs who born in Ludhiana ( Punjab, India ) and initiated his career with Microsoft Research after completing his B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Mumbai in the year 2008. In Microsoft Research, he passed two years with filing 2 patents and 3 research publishing in international journals. Finally, his urge to work as an entrepreneur let him shift to Mumbai by leaving his company job far behind. He got a unique idea of bringing the transport and technology go parallel by putting mobility for a billion of people. He was planning to launch a mobile app across 100 of cities by which, commuters can book a cab easily right from their smartphones and get the best and cheap convenience of travelling. Finally, we got a service called OLA cabs just because of his unique idea which has changed the way people travel.

Ankit Bhati is the Co-Founder and Chief Technical Officer of Olacabs who is mainly responsible for looking after the technical aspects and nuances of the company. He started off with several freelance projects like Wilcom, QED42 etc. after the completion of his Mechanical degree from IIT Mumbai and M.Tech in CAD and Automation. He was also addicted of the entrepreneurial itch like Bhavish Aggarwal that actually let them work under the same platform.  He joined the Olacabs journey in November 2010.

OlaCabs, commonly known as Ola, is an Indian online transportation network company. It was initially started in Mumbai as an online aggregator and later shifted to Bangalore. Till December 2014, it has expanded its car services in cities like Delhi, Pune, Chennai and Hyderabad. From December 2015, its auto services covered the cities like Chandigarh, Indore, Jaipur and Guwahati. As per the previous financial year, i.e September 2015, the company was valued about 500 crores. Ola provides different car services with all starting from economic to luxury mainly categorised into genres like Micro, Mini and Prime. It claims to have an average of 150,000 bookings per day and engulfs 80% of taxi market share in India by now. Apart from the taxi and auto services, OLA has come up with some more services like Ola Cafe, Ola Store, Ola Shuttle, Ola Money, Ola Corporate and OLA Pragati. Peoples of Delhi-NCR region are enjoying the electric vehicle services also which was actually launched by the company recently in April 2016. As per the recent reports, a total of 5100 electric rickshaws has been deployed under the scheme. The company has truly succeeded to manage and empower several driver-entrepreneurs with great earning opportunities along with small to big organisations ease of employee transportation. Some more noble initiatives like Avanti Learning Centres and Ola Gurukul have also been carried out by the company where drivers who are associated with Ola can get their children studying in the ninth and tenth standard to the learning centre and avail free education. In OLA Gurukul, over 500 students in Mumbai are getting free stationary, books and other stuff like free tuitions after their schools.
